I'm Excited!

I'm excited because since we're halfway through the year (the school year) we are going to go to an American Girl Doll fashion show! My mom got us tickets. I'm going to wear an outfit that matches my doll. I have Julie. I Julie because she is a very amazing American Girl.

I'm also excited about the plays I'm in. One of them is called The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare. And the other is Tea Time for Felicity, an American Girl play. I like being in plays because then I won't be afraid of talking to people anymore.

So I was wondering if you have anything going on that you're excited about???

My favorite actress and actors

I just love Emma Watson!!!! She is like the best actress in the WORLD!! I've seen all the Harry Potter movies (even the 7th movie) and she plays my FAVORITE person in Harry Potter - Hermione Granger!!! She's also in Ballet Shoes. I also like Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe. They play Ron Weasly (Rupert G.) and Harry Potter (Daniel R.). We also heard all the books on CD!!!! I have to go! Good night!!

Last Day of the Weekend!

Today I was in a swim meet. I swam a 100-IM, two relays, and a 25-fly. On fly I think I got 2nd place. While I was waiting at the swim meet I played and talked with my sisters and friends. One of my coaches (I'll call him "Shaggy Dog") keeps teasing me. Shaggy Dog even threw me in the pool one time! When I got home I played chess with my Daddy and WON 5 times in a ROW! After that I played outside - it was FREEZING and windy! Only a few of my friends were over. Then they left to go home. I helped my parents in the downstairs playroom - I was a HUGE help my mom says. After dinner we played the Lego Harry Potter game. My little sister, Zucchini, won. It is the best game I've played. We have ALL the HP Lego sets. We got them for Christmas. Now it's time for quiet reading. I'm reading Knight's Castle by Edward Eagar. It's part of a series. The series starts with the book Half Magic - it's really awesome. Now I have to go. Good night!

Violin Lessons

Today I went to violin. My teacher was in China for a month and I had a substitute teacher while she was gone. My regular teacher was back today! I was very excited, even though I felt shy! I did very well today. I played Perpetual Motion - both regular and with 16th notes (double every note). I played Go Tell Aunt Rhody but not regular - in A Minor! It sounds like a snake charmer!

School's Out ... Or Is It?

If you go to school, you probably don't have school on snow days. But If your homeschooled you have school every day but Saturday and Sunday. They even have school on days YOU don't! If you do go to school this will seem funny. But not for homeschooled kids or teens! They think it is really cool because maybe they are going to learn a lot of stuff in a few hours! They think homeschool is great! Here are three reasons I like being homeschooled: One, you can spend more time with your family; Two, you don't have to switch rooms and have the same classes as your brothers and sisters; Three you have every meal of the day in your own house!!!
